The basic elements of an electric jigsaw

  1. The steel or aluminum guiding plane-support, also known as the base plate, sets the desired cutting angle for the tool and keeps it in that position at all times, so that the cut of metal material is made as accurately as possible. Most often you can select any angle value in degrees up to 45 degrees, but there are some jigsaw models with fixed values to choose from.
  2. Any electric jigsaw is equipped with a special saw blade that makes fast movements perpendicular to the plane of the material to be worked, with a speed of 53 revolutions per second.
  3. At the heart of the driving system of the tool – a powerful electric motor from 200-ta to 900-ta watts, which turns the lifeless saw into a high-speed monster.
  4. Basically, all jigsaws are equipped with a mushroom leg-like holder with which you can hold the jigsaw in position throughout the work.
  5. All models of this tool have a supporting roller or jaw that guides the movement of the saw.
  6. Finally, any modification of the electric jigsaw is characterized by a special button that allows the tool to work, without constantly holding the start.
